Illustrator, educator, and naturalist Corinn Marriott has always had a deep fascination with the Earth. She grew up exploring the forests and creek beds of her Finger Lakes New York home, entranced by their majesty. To this day, the illustrator spends every spare minute of her time enjoying nature and exploring more of her region. Marriott’s detailed and vibrant gouache illustrations celebrate the beauty found around us. Her illustration process often begins on a hike where she will sketch and photograph her natural surroundings. Using original reference helps her work have an enhanced sense of realism and vivacity that could be otherwise lost.

Marriott holds a BFA in Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford. Her client list includes Keuka Spring Vineyards, Full Pour Magazine, Finger Lakes Puzzle LLC, and more. Marriott is an Adjunct Professor of Illustration at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
